Eligibility


In order to be eligible for the HouseProud program one must be at least 60 years of age, and live in Neighborhood Planning Units V, T or K which include the following neighborhoods:

  • Adair Park
  • Mechanicsville
  • Peoplestown
  • Pittsburgh
  • Summerhill
  • Atlanta University Center
  • Ashview Heights
  • Just Us Neighbors
  • Westend
  • Westview
  • Bankhead
  • Hunter Hills
  • Knights Park/Howell Station
  • Mozley Park
  • Washington Park

Eligible seniors must then provide:

  • proof of income
  • proof of basic homeowner's insurance
  • one utility bill and
  • identification
