HouseProud Kick-Off Celebration

HouseProud Kick-Off Celebration

For the past 20 years, HouseProud Atlanta has been a program of the Atlanta Community ToolBank, providing no-cost home repairs for low-income seniors and disabled to keep them warm, safe and dry in their homes. The ToolBank began in southwest Atlanta 20 years ago when a group of neighbors accepted tool donations from friends to do no-cost home repairs for seniors in their neighborhood.  The ToolBank continues to loan tools to nonprofits throughout metro Atlanta and beyond.

HouseProud, the program that helped to start it all, recently received its own 501(c) 3 tax exempt status and will begin 2012 as its own separate organization! This enormous achievement was made possible by the support of our corporate and community partners, foundations, and last but not least the wonderfully immense volunteer support that enables a very small staff to help so many fragile seniors remain in their homes.

Join us as we celebrate this wonderful achievement!!!
